Loving Jesus the Christ!

So,not much has happened this week. Loving my study of Jesus the Christ all this week. If you really want to understand the New Testament? READ THAT BOOK! Its truly amazing.

Reading about the resurrection of our Savior and Redeemer. (I`m sorry if I don`t spell good, all my english has flown out the window) is so beautiful. That He rose, and thanks to Him, we will rise again too. Beautiful.
Some cool facts, there is a house here (that I`ll try to get apicture of… it`s hard to take pictures because I never carry around my camera.) But anyways, there is a house, that is about 150 years old…what? It`s just an old house (without bedrooms… because they just put up cardboard walls to have bedrooms) But that`s pretty awesome…

PICTURES!

  • Selfie me… and my apartment. As you can see,we still use mosquito nets..
  • And that “mountain” is a volcano. Mombacho….
  • Fried fish anyone? Super crazy, but it as actually very good.
  • Also, squishing 5 of us in the back of a moto-taxi? Pretty crazy..

Finding your life!

Alright. Ready for  gospel throw-down? I´ve been loving my studies all of this week. Finding really wonderful talks in the Liahona.

I always feel so prepared to write my email, until I actually have to sit down and write it, then I feel everything leaving my brain. But I’ll try.
First off, a WONDERFUL part of the March Liahona about Motherhood. So this is for those mothers out there. https://www.lds.org/liahona/2016/03/gaining-gospel-insights-through-motherhood?lang=eng
I love when she talks about how we sometimes hide from God when we’ve made a mistake. We feel bad and we hide away, even though HE IS THE ONLY one who can make us feel better. Beautiful. Also another wonderful scripture for mothers is Alma 37:33 Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
That this is your duty, to all parents. To teach FAITH, REPENTANCE, BAPTISM and ENDURANCE. Also known as the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
For those who aren’t mothers yet, like myself, https://www.lds.org/liahona/2016/03/finding-your-life?lang=eng
this AMAZING talk is.. well… amazing. I especially love the quote from Joseph Smith (which will now be my life motto) “When the Lord commands, DO IT” Beautiful.
So, starting into SEMANA SANTA! and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I’m honoring this event by reading even more of Jesus the Christ (A wonderful read) and really learning more about our savior’s earthly ministry. Really beautiful.
Some pictures of me with my both “daughters” Hermana Chacon and Hermana Mendez. As well as our trio, Hermana Lopez, Mendez, and me. Also This is a picture of Sofia, who did end up getting baptized! And I was very sad that I didn’t get to see it! But that’s the way the transfers work. They also just baptized Adriana and Wilton, who I had been teaching in Diriamba as well. So I´m very happy for the success that they have had! And now it’s time to make Diriomo just as successful!

Crazy crazy Diriomo

BUT TRANSFERS ARE THIS WEEK! Ready… I´m so ready. We´ll see what happens!

This week is CRAZY! And today we went to Managua to get the Cedula (Social Security Card) of Hna. Lopez, so I have no time to write!

So I HAD TRANSFERS! And here I am in… DIRIOMO! Not to be confused with Diriamba (where I was before) and I`m training again…. and in a trio. I`m with Hna, Lopez who is just coming out of her training, and Hna. Mendez who started her training in Texas (visa waiter) and now she`s with me to finish up her training… so crazy! With two basically newbies we`re doing alright…
HAPPY WOMENS DAY! I don`t know if you new… but that happened this past week. Apparently they made it a big thing here in Nicaragua…
Strange thing this week… we saw a dead dog in the street (not the weird part) but it was absolutely flattened… like cardboard… but it WAS definitely a dead dog…

HAPPY DAY!

First off I am soooo relived to hear that your cancer is in Remission Dad! WAHOO!! Congrats. Good job. Really it was a team effort :0 nah I´m kidding. But I really am happy.

This week has gone by soo fast. The Chacon isn’t in her training anymore so we left everyday at 10:30… what? So cool.
So Sofia is awesome. Pretty sad that she couldn´t be baptized this week, but at the conference they talked a lot about Temples. And she asked us “what do WE have to do to get a temple?” Covenant making material RIGHT THERE! I just love it.
We´ve been sleeping a lot with the other sisters this week. Helping out with divisions. I love it, we get along really well as a district, and I´ll be sad for this change!
BUT TRANSFERS ARE THIS WEEK! Ready… I´m so ready. We´ll see what happens!
